Our logo is a picture of a very small
shell found recently on an island beach near
Madagascar.
Similar shells, sometimes of a
much bigger size, can be found in extremely
old fossils. Here is an example seen in the Natural
History Museum of Vienna.

We chose this image for our logo
because it shows that growing complexity
has always been with us, and can be mastered.
This has been explained in
mathematical terms by Leonardo Pisano Fibonacci
(1170 - 1250),
who defined the golden number ("Phi").
The Fibonacci number Phi is found
everywhere : in the structure of animals,
trees, leaves and flowers, in
architecture, and even in violin
design...
