Our logo is a picture of a very small shell found recently on an island beach near Madagascar.

 

Similar shells, sometimes of a much bigger size, can be found in  extremely old fossils. Here is an example seen in the Natural History Museum of Vienna.

 We chose this image for our logo because it shows that growing complexity has always been with us, and can be mastered.

 

This has been explained in mathematical terms by Leonardo Pisano Fibonacci (1170 - 1250), who defined the golden number ("Phi").

 

The Fibonacci number Phi is found everywhere :  in the structure of animals, trees, leaves and flowers, in architecture, and even in violin design...
